I remember Coach Mac when asked about recruiting in-state


One year Sonny Lubick had signed more kids from Colorado to CSU than did Mac did at CU.

Media talked about how CSU was out recruiting CU in-state

In typical Mac fashion, he always spoke his mind without regard on how it would sound or play. Mac said that CU had gotten every in-state player they wanted.

We will never get every player from in-state, but we want to get the ones we believe can help CU win the Pac12. This year the Buffs got 2 of the Top 10, and 5 of the Top 15. I would think we would want to continue to get 5 to 7 of the Top 15, with 4 or 5 of the Top 10.
