A small "part" of her dna was Native American.....
which was not enough to qualify her as a member of a Native American tribe, which she says she never sought out tribal status, but shows she had some ancestor in her family blood line that was NA.
I have a friend that her mother's side of the family was from Oklahoma and she has enough NA dna to qualify as a tribal member and qualifies her for some type of tribal land rights. I think she said it was the Chickasaw
Tribe.
And I know here in California when the NA's were allowed to build casinos on their land and the money started pouring in, there were a lot of people that came out of the woodwork and claimed membership. And they were not allowed and even some that actually lived on tribal land were proven not to qualify and they were banned.
The NA tribes have really tightened the restrictions on people claiming to have NA blood/dna.
