So you’re about the first who came CLOSE to saying it...

DW’s injury was an enormous setback for this team. He was ready to be a force at the low post and as a rim protector. For a team who lives and dies on inside-out basketball, his loss was a killer. Siewert spends more time beyond the arc than in the paint.

Also, Brown was playing the best ball of his career. He brought experience, a 3-point threat and was easily our best perimeter defender...in addition to being our backup PG.

Finally, we don’t have the international kid with size.

Not making excuses, but those are facts. And let’s play a home game before making such dire predictions.
