Lubbock
Tucson
Stillwater
Champaign

This all depends on what one considers crappy. I’ve been to all of those towns on my list. Yuck. However, I kinda like the small, midwestern atmosphere like Ames, Lawrence, etc. I could add some big cities (Los Gangeles) to the list because I’m not a city guy. I’d live in Ames before I’d live in Seattle.

I’ve been to games in Tallahassee and had a great experience but would not live there. Same with a lot of southern locations, to be honest. Good people but ugly and horrible weather.

Anyone who is not wealthy and liberal could put Boulder on the list.
