2018 Montez regressed to 2017 Montez once the D realized to sit on the


short routes/screens. The 2nd pick 6 was at least a little disguised, but that 1st one was just bad, freshman bad.

He still shows flashes of being good, but still way too inconsistent in seeing the field / open receivers and throwing accurately.

The OL and receivers certainly didn’t always help, but Montez left a lot of plays out there over the course of the 7 game losing streak.
