Except we are supposed to be talking football. and not citizenship...
also, that was part of Houston's hype from day one. I felt even back then he used football as his stepping stone.
I don't even know what has happened with Bush lately. I know he was playing pro here and there but as far as following him, I don't. I still say his family were the ones responsible and maybe he did know and went along with it or maybe not. It still doesn't change the fact he was a great football player and all the USC fans loved him until he/them almost killed the program for good. And SC is still recovering from it. I think I was told this year was the final year of restricting the number of players allowed to be recruited. And that makes how many seasons? I don't even know anymore but many. So hopefully now if Helton is gone and there is a solid person to take his place with good recruiting skills, SC can resume it's place in the Pac 12 as a power house.
Again, I'm saying this as my observations of what has gone on since Reggie Bush. I brought Houston up because of the comments about Bush. He has been wiped off the face of USC football history just like OJ Simpson. Time to move on.
