I agree on Montez
It was brought up last week by a couple of people here that this is a " one read offense". Hard to dispute that given his play. He is laser focused on one target 95% of the time. I guess that is what the " so called genius" Roper is teaching hin this year. I also agree with a couple of comments yesterday that mentioned the extreme velocity on some of his short passes, that make them extremely difficult to hold on to.
We can blame the oline, and it is well deserved, but our passing scheme leaves much to be desired.
Kordell was honored into the Hall of Fame this weekend. Many here have compared Montez to Stewart. I watched every game Kordell played... Montez is no Kordell Stewart. Not even close!
